Pro Juventute Issues

of 1918-1926

The Pro Juventute surtaxed Swiss stamps issued between 1918 and 1926 all feature the theme of "Cantonal Coats of Arms", and that is the name that they are referred to as by Swiss philatelists.  In mint condition they are not terribly expensive, and together, they make an impressive collection display.

"Pro Juventute" or "For the Children" is a Swiss charitable foundation, established in 1912, dedicated to supporting the rights and needs of Swiss children and youth.

All of the Pro Juventute Swiss stamps shown below were issued on December 1 of each year, and they were all typographed on cream-surfaced paper
